Not Christmas-y, but a Christmas present

A customer brought me this quilt which is going to be a Christmas present.  I don't know the pattern name, but I will call it the Aboriginal quilt because of the way the fabrics look to me.

We chose the Bubbles panto for this one.  The swirls of the panto mimic the swirly pattern in many of the fabrics and it offsets the harsh lines of the pattern design.

Here it is completed.

Here is another close-up after completing the quilting.

Again, this customer loves minkee.  So we have a creamy colored minkee that really shows off the quilting.

Someone's going to get a cozy quilt  under the Christmas tree this year.

On to the next Christmas quilt.
