Knitting season

What can I say?  It's mid winter.  There are still 50 some days to Spring.  My quilting room is clean and I don't want to mess it up and there is yarn calling my name.

I pulled another knitting project to work on.

I am really excited about getting this one done and wearing it before the weather turns warm..

Also, I've been
running over to my daughter's to get some puppy kisses and nibbles because this one who is adorable.

Her name is Maple.

I did manage to get my quilted makeup/project  bags made for my daughters, daughter-in-law and myself.  The "made" fabric was done before Christmas, but I just ran out of oomph and time to get them done in time.

Oh....I guess I didn't get any pictures of the finished two that were done in taupe and peach, but they turned out just as nice.

These four bags has been it for quilting for me though.

I will get my quilting mojo back as soon as some of this knitting is completed.  There is still plenty of fabric that needs to be cut, sewn and unfortunately .....bought!

Oh wait!  There's guild again.  That forces me to get down to the charity room and get things done.  I had to pull some backings and batting for a couple of the members and while I was down there, I threw together a few kits.  The plan at the next meeting is to take fabric and get some help cutting and right now I am waiting to hear from those ladies that I contacted, but I do have to say that getting in there and fondling some of that fabric has given me the itch to start quilting again.

I guess I had better get busy on that sweater or something is going to have to give.
