California Round Trip......

This quilt came in the mail on Thursday from California.  I had it loaded that night but didn't get to it until today (Saturday).

It is a quilt made up of the customer's foster mom's smocks, so it is a memory quilt of sorts.

We decided to do an pantograph called "Popcorn" on it.  Something simple, but pretty and keeps the quilt nice and soft.

Here's the backing that she chose.

It will be heading back to it's home tomorrow hopefully.  Of course, it doesn't help that it is Memorial Weekend, but at least half of its journey is over.

Hope the customer loves it.

  1. That popcorn stitching is perfect, I'm sure they'll cherish it.

  2. Isn’t it wonderful that a person can wrap themselves in a quilt made from special things. Like having loving arms around them. The softness of the colors and your gentle quilting are a perfect combination.
