Two down, two to go......

I am burning out on these blocks, but trying very hard not to let the burn out interfere with my decision making on fabrics for each block.

The last two blocks.....well.....the second to last I am not looking forward to.  I haven't figured out the best way to tackle it yet.

The last block is crazy intense, but I am trying not to think about it until I get to it.

Wish me luck.  I am sooooo close.

  4. I'm so encouraged to see your progress on this quilt. I bought the pattern years ago at the York Historical Society after seeing the original in a special show there. After seeing your quilt I'm thinking of actually starting on my journey!

    1. Patti...Your e-mail was a "no replY" email, so I will respond to you hear. If you love the quilt, start it. I blame working (now retired) and having other more pressing projects (baby showers, weddings, etc) interfere with my keeping up with this quilt. It's no fun to work on something, put it away for a little while to get something else done and then get back to it right away. Out of sight, out of mind sometimes. Now that I have the time to consistently work on this one, I am excited (even though I complain sometimes) to get this one done. I would love to see yours once you start on it. Keep posted here as I plan to finish this one right to the end. Phase I is almost done (the blocks); Phase II will be putting the blocks on the background and Phase III will be quilting it. I can't wait to see it finished.
