Quick fix quilt....

If you are looking for a quick fix, this Zen quilt is the one.  I bought this fabric yesterday and it is so easy to make.  Wish I had started it earlier today, because then I would have all the blocks made.

The top row consists of all the solid blocks.  I believe there are 31 of those. There will be 32 pieced blocks (that is if I make it as large as the pattern calls for).  Thirteen are pieced.

Eighteen are prepped and ready to be stitched.  I still need to make one more, but will wait to see which color (light or dark) that will work best when I have them all done and laid out.  I did find my leopard batik in my stash, so I am a happy camper.

I am hoping that once everyone leaves tomorrow after our Easter festivities, I will have time to sew the rest of these blocks together.

So.....since it will be a busy morning tomorrow. ....

I wish you a Happy Easter and may you enjoy your families as I will.

  1. Wow that was fast. It really must be an easy project to have so much of it done already. I've wanted to make this quilt and have a picture of it on my design wall, but I can't decide what fabrics to use. Love It!

  3. Love it! That colour palette is absolutely divine .... going to look for that magazine right now - and then perhaps order myself some batiks in greens perhaps.
