Quilting is my passion. The ability to be creative with colorful fabric just makes me smile. Of course, equally joyful is the love of my grandchildren. What could be better?
Food for thought.
Memory is a wonderful treasure chest for those who know how to pack it.

Going to sit on this one for a day or two.....
I want to look at this layout for a day or two to see if anything needs to be moved around.
The blocks went together super easy and even though I was worried about the really "light" blocks, I think they were needed in this quilt and they give it some spark. I have taken a few pictures of different arrangements and this is the final one for today. If I am still liking it in a day or two, then the rows will be sewn together and then I will have to find something for a backing. This will go to the quilter when I go to pick up my daisy quilt and the black/cream toile quilt.
Don't you just love a "finish"?!!!! (well....almost in this case)
I am known as Mimi by my four grandsons. They are 12, 10, 7 and 3 years old. They are what life is all about. I recently retired from my office job. Now I am just loving being a grandma who loves to quilt and is once again dabbling in knitting, I am a longarmer and an APQS retailer. I can see retirement being very busy!
