Beyond the Cherry Trees is at the quilter's.

Binding is made.....and I used this fabric which was the largest piece I still had in my French General stash.

I guess while I am "not so patiently" waiting, I will make some more hexies.

  1. I'm jealous! Still working on the borders over here. This weekend I'm going camping and taking them with me, hope to get the cherry stems all stitched, then I can attach and start on the top and bottom borders.

  2. Love your binding, Mimi! I swoon over any French General fabric - my choice for backing and binding too! Bought my batt today - Hobbs wool - oh my, about fainted when I heard the total, but it is going to be heaven to quilt.

Have fun with those hexies in the meantime...looking forward to seeing your quilt!!

My husband built me some shelves for the "stash" closet so that I no longer have to stack all my large Rubbermaids on top of eac...
