Two more done....

I would have posted these last night, but a 1/4 of Michigan was without internet last night through to this morning.  Not sure why, but here are the final two blocks for now.

Wow, there sure were a lot of pieces to this one block.  Almost lost my dotted fabric that I used for the background on this one.

Well, that's it for now.  I have to prep more blocks before I work on them again.  Cherry Trees will be out in a couple of days, so that will be my next priority.  Also,  it is so cold here in Michigan that I am thinking of getting out my yarn that I bought to make a hat and get started on that.  The cold is my incentive.

Happy Quilting!

  1. I am so enjoying watching your progress on this beautiful pieces .... they are so pretty. Enjoy the knitting, I also get inspired when the weather turns cold.

  2. Pretty! I love the browns and blacks together. Will these blocks be appliqued or pieced to the background?

  3. Both of these blocks turned out so beautiful!
Your new hat sounds like a wonderful project to make in this frigid weather!

  4. Your blocks are progressing beautifully - so intricate - I would imagine the simplicity of the BTCT blocks provides more relaxation!

We are also quite chilly in Northern Wisconsin with even colder temps predicted for next week...
    be prepared!!

  5. Lots of work there. Can't wait to see how they all go together. Seems like there are a few us in blogland that are making this pattern. I don't know anyone who has done as many as you though.
