This was a big one!

My customer was slowly breaking me in on her latest project when she brought me her pillow shams to be quilted.

When she came to pick up the shams, she handed me a couple throw pillow tops that she wanted quilted the same way.  Oops! Sorry, I guess I didn't save those pix.

Then the reason for these pillows came when she picked up the pillow covers.

OMG!  I have a 12' table on my APQS longarm and had told her what the capacity was for a quilt and I think she made this beauty to fit my machine.

It couldn't have been one inch larger!

But...it's gorgeous, isn't it?

I quilted all the pieces in white So Fine thread top and bobbin (the quilt alone took 18 1/2 bobbins).  Cupid was the name of the pantograph for the E2E stitching.

I think this is the largest quilt I have quilted to date.  I have done other queen quilts, but I am sure this one is larger.  It will be on its way hone soon.  I think the customer is going to very pleased with the outcome.

Next?

  2. That IS large! I think a king-size is 108" (9 feet). Nice quilting (appropriate design), and I can hardly imagine the piecer quilting it without you!
