I took weaving and pottery in college because I was allowed a few classes with only a pass-fail grade and my confidence level was low for anything arty. After college my mom bought me a loom which led to a spinning wheel which led to vegetable dyeing and then there was a little basket making thrown in. I am finding quilting leads in just as many varied directions.Carol Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11846301646769655933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5016712355074044574.post-7890618353499146642010-12-02T20:41:15.911-05:002010-12-02T20:41:15.911-05:00I love your little ornaments! Quilting has always remained a constant in my life, but decorative painting, needle work and doll making have been crafts I've enjoyed learning as well.Aunt 'Reenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08204447436613555757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5016712355074044574.post-66291826259718769892010-11-29T23:44:59.833-05:002010-11-29T23:44:59.833-05:00Before I started quilting I had a lot more time an...Before I started quilting I had a lot more time and didn't use it wisely. I was a career girl and that was my life. After marriage and children, THEN I discovered sewing and quilting. Now, that I have much less time and so many commitments. Darn it. But, it is OK and I like it enough that eventually, when the kids are gone, I will have much more time to indulge.Deannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16967242215534982128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5016712355074044574.post-61676238483513232972010-11-29T21:25:27.814-05:002010-11-29T21:25:27.814-05:00I have done several hobbies over the years. Once I started quilting, I dropped everything else and have been doing it for about 20 years.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01816001950084090576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5016712355074044574.post-6996174545222510402010-11-29T20:38:42.167-05:002010-11-29T20:38:42.167-05:00Crewel, embroidery, cross stitch, made stuffed ted...Crewel, embroidery, cross stitch, made stuffed teddy bears and dolls.
